Supply and delivery of mattresses

By certain opportunities we were able to leave a footprint in the mattress world. These images show a car transfer that rides over 25m , and supply 7 conveyors. Of the seven conveyors, there are two where the transfer car organises the removal of bonded mattresses. Depending on the choice of the user these mattresses are sent toward finishing or storage. 3 of 5 of the other bands are buffer places where the piles are stored and sent to the assembly department according to schedule. The last band at the back of the car is going to transfer the assembly / finishing department. In order to process everything on time the drive has a displace capacity of a 2m / s.

For this project, VCA succeeded the complete control and the mechanical concept. The transfer car is first developed in Autodesk Inventor, and then compiled in-house. The rest of the installation, being the conveyors and stackers that were already existing, have also been included in the project. This gives them a facelift and a new life. The whole is finished with the necessary protection to meet current safety regulations.
